Being a highly educated and wealthy society (unusual for most regional towns in Australia), there are a large number of extremely talented residents who contribute to the many cultural associations and share their talents by creating events which can be enjoyed by the rest of the community.
New members are often welcomed into the groups -it's a great way to make new friends - but beware!
